International Yoga Day Celebrated with Great Fervour at Cambridge School Greater Noida
Like every year since 2014, International Yoga Day was celebrated in the premises of Cambridge School Greater Noida on 21st June 2022 with much fervour.
The event turned out to be successful as the energy and rhythm of more than 750 students practicing yoga, along with their parents and teachers, charged the atmosphere of the school. The event was facilitated by the able Yoga practitioner Mr. Rajneesh Sharma. The students learned the basics of yogic breathing and many asanas.
The chief guest for the event was Mr D.K. Sharma, secretary general of National Yoga Sports Federation (NYSF). He praised the students for their active participation and encouraged them to adopt Yoga practice in life. In his address, Mr. Sharma told the students that Yoga is an ascetic discipline which is practiced for good health and relaxation. He also highlighted the significance of developing a strong sense of values as well as the importance of goal-setting in our life.
The event ended with a vote of thanks from the Principal Mrs. Snehlata Krishnan.
