Inter School Roller Skating
9th & 10th May 2024

“Champions keep playing until they get it right.”
The 2nd Inter School Skating Competition was organised by Cambridge School Greater Noida on 9th & 10th May 2024. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from around 450 Delhi & NCR children who participated enthusiastically.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr.Varun Ahalwat President- Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India who graced the occasion with his presence. Addressing the participant on the occasion, the chief guest said that both academics and sports are equally important for the overall development of children and he specifically mentioned that skating leads to the neuromuscular development of the child.
The school Principal Mr. Shalabh Sharma welcomed the guests as well as the participant from various schools.
The competition was held in sixteen different events and age categories starting from Under-4 to Above-16 years old boys and girls. The event included races in Inline, Quads, and Adjustable Roller Skates types. Relay races were also held in Under-12/U-14 age categories.
The Overall Championship Trophy was bagged by Cambridge School Indirapuram with a score of 173 points. The clinch Overall Runners Up Trophy Delhi Public School KP-V Scoring a total of 82 points. And 2nd Runner Up Trophy Lotus Valley School Greater Noida scoring a total of 80 points.

Founder's Day

‘His Vision for tomorrow is even a driving force even today’

On the 5th of April 2024,Cambridge School Greater Noida Team came together to honour and celebrate the legacy of the visionary behind our esteemed School founder Mr. Alok Chandra Deb. Founder’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Cambridge School Greater Noida. The day was marked with an array of events that not only paid tribute to our roots but also celebrated our collective spirit of enthusiasm and zeal for the school.

The occasion was graced by Mr. Indranil Gupta, the School Manager, Ms. Bina Varma, the School Administrator, Mr. Shalabh Sharma, the Vice Principal and Ms. Rupa Pal Chowdhury, the Headmistress along with the teachers and students. The students and teachers held a special assembly to honour and pay tribute to our founder. It was an exciting day for the school, as the students and the staff cherished the journey of the school and reflected upon the school’s growth over the last years.

The program began with the lighting of the lamp and offering homage to our respected founder Sir Alok Chandra Deb whose vision was to raise Indian children as good citizens, instilling in them the values of service and independence -with the motto ‘We learn to Serve’. A prayer song by the school choir group was followed by a beautiful rendition of Rabindra Sangeet, presented by the teachers. Next was a mesmerizing folk dance by the students. It was a day dedicated to express our gratitude to the founder for creating such magnificent institutions of joy and love.

Investiture Day

Investiture Day in Cambridge School Greater Noida is a glorious occasion that celebrates leadership, responsibility, and the spirit of collaboration. This special day was held on 2nd August 2023 with a grand ceremony, where students were formally appointed to various leadership roles, such as school Prefects, Club Captains, Student Council members, Head Boy, Head Girl and more.
The event was marked by an atmosphere of pride and anticipation as parents, teachers and students gathered to witness the investiture of these young leaders taking an oath of office. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Indranil Gupta as the Chief Guest who inspired the newly appointed leaders to lead by example and foster positive change within the school community.

As part of the ceremony, the outgoing student leaders passed on the baton of responsibility to the newly elected ones, symbolizing continuity, and a smooth transition of leadership. This passing of authority was accompanied by the presentation of badges and sashes signifying the students’ official recognition in their respective roles. Beyond the grandeur of the event, Investiture Day held a deeper meaning for students. It instilled a sense of accountability in the council members to shoulder responsibilities with dedication.

Cambridge School Greater Noida organised an Inter- School Psychology Fest – KATHARSIS on 28th July 2023. Dr. Mala Vohra Khanna, Clinical Psychologist from Delhi University was the Chief Guest. Dr. Shivani Tomar, professor from K R Mangalam University, Gurugram, Ms. Anusha Tyagi, Arts based therapist from Fortis Healthcare Noida and Ms. Madhupi Bhattacharya, Commercial artist from Greater Noida were the judges in the fest. Students participated in various events such as Esthetica – Canvas Painting, Unplugged- Digital poster making, Feather Feet- Contemporary Dance, Intellect Diction – Picture Analysis and Chaplin’s Silent Expressions- Mime Act.

The Inter School Art and Cultural Fiesta – Spectrum was held on August 10th and 11th, 2023, at Cambridge School Greater Noida. It was a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and cultural diversity. The festival was inaugurated with ceremonial lamp lighting, performed by Chief Guest Mrs. Bidisha Roy Das. This event provided a platform for students from various schools to showcase their skills and foster healthy competition. The festival offered a wide array of competitions, including On the Spot Story Writing, Narrative Photography, Comic Strip, among others. A remarkable participation of over 300 students from 19 schools breathed life into these events. The event culminated with a grand prize distribution ceremony, where Mrs. Das and other esteemed dignitaries bestowed accolades upon the deserving winners. Notable winners included Lotus Valley Greater Noida for Classical Music and Vishwa Bharti Public School Greater Noida for Indian Classical Dance. The coveted overall winner trophy was claimed by The Khaitan School, Noida.

The Annual Science Exhibition Samvardhan 2023

The Annual Science Exhibition Samvardhan 2023 was organized at Cambridge School Greater Noida on 15th December 2023. The theme for this year’s exhibition was Sustainable Future: “Building a Greener Tomorrow”. Nineteen exhibits from different schools of Greater Noida, Noida and New Delhi were showcased during the exhibition. The participants were from classes VI to IX. In the junior category, classes VI-VII, Delhi Public School bagged the first position for its model Waste to Wonder: Innovations in Sustainable Design while the second position was captured by Abid and Atharva from VII B of Cambridge School Greater Noida for their exhibit on Energy Solutions: Sustainability with Bio-fuel. SDRV convent got the first prize in the senior category for their presentation on waste management while DPS Greater Noida got the second prize. The event culminated by the address of the school manager Mr. Indranil Gupta.

Samvad

Cambridge School Greater Noida held the fourth edition of its prestigious annual Youth Parliament ‘SAMVAD 2019’ in the school premises on 15th and 16th October 2019. This year, the conference brought together 160 student delegates from 10 schools across the NCR with the intent of developing in them leadership qualities of intellectual depth and communication dexterity in the true spirit of democracy and integrity.

The magic of SAMVAD prevailed through committees such as Lok Sabha, All India Political Parties Meet and Stakeholder’s Meet which focused on the following agendas – ‘New Education Policy 2019’, ‘National Security Policy, with emphasis on cross border terrorism’, and ‘Agrarian crisis and Food Security in India’ respectively.

Intense debate prevailed in each of the committees. The knowledgeable and impassioned young delegates came up with innovative ideas to deal with the different agendas.

His Excellency Mr. Daniel Chuburu – Ambassador of Argentina who was the Chief Guest, encouraged all students to be politically conscious citizens of the country. He urged them to have a clear understanding of the functioning of the government, to be able to lead the country on the path of betterment.

Eminent keynote speakers who graced the event were Major General G.D. Bakshi SM, VSM; Mr Maneesh Garg, Joint Secretary in HRD Ministry, Dr. Shakila Shamshu, OSD, MHRD, and award-winning journalist Ms. Gargi Parsai. They enlightened the young minds about cross-border terrorism concerns, the emergent new education policy and realities of the agrarian crisis affecting our farm sector.
